Mia Ambroiggio

Mia Ambroiggio graduated from Yale School of the Environment in 2026, where she earned a Master of Environmental Management with a specialization in People, Equity, and the Environment. Her work spans coastal resilience, community-centered climate initiatives, and environmental writing. She has collaborated with municipalities, nonprofit organizations, and regional collaboratives across the Northeast to advance climate adaptation and community resilience. Her experience includes consulting on local and regional coastal resilience projects, researching distributed energy resources for coastal storm resilience, and engaging community members in municipal sustainability programming.

At Yale, Mia focused on coastal and flood resilience through community planning and aquaculture. With a coursework focus on coastal ecosystems, fisheries and aquaculture, and urban planning for sustainable development, she concurrently partnered with organizations to strengthen flood resilience in rural communities and expand oyster shell recycling efforts that support both oyster farmers and Connecticut's coastline. She also was a research assistant in the Success Lab, wrote for The Forest School, and worked in Yale’s Office of Sustainability.
