Meryl Braconnier
Meryl Braconnier is a Producer for the Beyond the Buzzwords program with the Yale Center for Business and Environment and the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale. Through this project and her studies, Meryl strives to share stories with people to increase engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge with regards to regenerative agriculture and nature-based climate change solutions. She is pursuing her Master of Environmental Management at the Yale School of the Environment with a specialization in People, Equity, and the Environment.
Prior to Yale, Meryl received her B.S. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Vermont where she completed an Honors Thesis project on the social dimensions of river conservation in Vermont’s Upper Missisquoi River Basin. She went on to work for four years in agricultural conservation in Vermont as a conservation planner for Vermont Association of Conservation Districts, a farmhand on a small-scale vegetable operation, and a project technician with the Franklin County Natural Resources Conservation District.
Outside of the thrilling work of mitigating climate change, Meryl enjoys performing stand-up comedy, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and reading poetry and fiction.
