Maya Caine

Maya Caine graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Information Systems and minoring in Anthropology. She began her career as a Solutions Engineer at Salesforce and later moved into Corporate Strategy roles at Bath and Body Works and Nike. At Nike, Maya focused on circularity initiatives, such as setting new standards for textile waste reduction in league contracts and developing strategies to address waste colonialism in the Global South. In parallel with her corporate career, Maya founded Mive Labs to advance the circular fashion economy in Ohio. Her work included textile waste mapping, creating economic strategies for textile waste, and helping organizations adopt circular design practices.


Maya is currently a graduate student in Environmental Management at the Yale School of the Environment, focusing on Industrial Ecology and Green Chemistry, and plans to continue building circular fashion systems post-graduation.
