Max Storto

Max Storto is a joint MEM/MBA degree candidate at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies and the Yale School of Management. He is interested in sustainable supply chains, water resource management, and dismantling inequality.

At Yale, Max co-authored Just Good Business: An Investor’s Guide to B Corps, a CBEY report that detailed the investor landscape on Certified B Corps and Benefit Corporations. In the summer of 2018, Max worked at EcoLogic Solutions, a Certified B Corp that provides green cleaning supply solutions to the food service industry. In 2019, Max interned at Xylem, a water technology company.

Before starting graduate school, Max worked at Boston Common Asset Management, a socially responsible investment firm that integrates sustainability and human rights issues into its investment process and at the Sustainable Endowments Institute, an NGO focused on financing energy-efficiency projects.

Max holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University and loves backpacking, board games, and the Chicago Cubs. In New Haven, you can find Max biking around town, running through East Rock Park, or mumbling under his breath as he picks recyclables out of the trash.
