Marissa Galizia
Marissa Galizia leads residential and mobility partnerships at Voltus, the leading virtual power plant operator of distributed energy resources. Voltus pays energy users to reduce or shift electricity use in response to grid stress, high prices, and high emissions. Prior to this, Marissa spent about nine years at ChargePoint in a variety of roles scaling EV charging across North America and Europe. She was one of the founding members of ChargePoint Europe and lived in the Netherlands for three years helping to establish ChargePoint’s European operations. Marissa joined ChargePoint immediately after graduating from Yale’s MBA and Master of Environmental Management joint-degree program in 2015.
Marissa began her career at IBM Global Business Services where she consulted to federal, state and local governments and utilities to improve customer relationship management and has also worked with solar microgrid companies in India and Kenya to connect communities without consistent grid access to clean electricity.
She lives in New York with her husband and son.
