Marisa is a second-year Master of Environmental Management candidate specializing in Business and the Environment. She is interested in the development of sustainable urban systems, with a particular focus on food and waste streams. At FES, Marisa is a co-leader of the Sustainable Food and Agriculture Student Interest Group, organizes community events as an elected member of Forestry Club, and serves as Teaching Fellow for the advanced seminar in Waste Management & the Circular Economy. Through CBEY, she is a writer and student program manager for the Conservation Finance Network.

This summer Marisa worked for the City & County of Honolulu in the Office of Climate Change, Sustainability and Resiliency. Prior to Yale, she was Production Coordinator for the Good Food Foundation, a San Francisco-based nonprofit focused on growing the businesses of sustainable food producers. She holds a Bachelors in Art History from Williams College.
