Maria is an MBA\MEM candidate at the Yale School of Management and Yale School of the Environment with an interest in driving clean energy solutions and the acceleration of carbon pricing. Prior to graduate school, she worked as an energy industry consultant driving strategic, supply chain initiatives through policy impact studies, M&A, category management, and strategic sourcing at over a dozen utilities across North America.

Maria graduated with honors from Cornell University with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management (Business) with a concentration in Environmental and Resource Economics and minor in Environmental Science. During this time, she held various internships in U.S. carbon cap-and-trade, including at RGGI, the Environmental Defense Fund, and ICIS.

Outside of school and work, Maria enjoys biking at an extremely reasonable pace (sometimes with camping gear), eating homemade pasta, and petting her roommate’s extremely floofy cat and well-behaved dog.
