Margaret Williams serves as ACR’s team lead for offset methodology development and approvals in the agriculture, forestry and land use sectors. She was part of the team that recently updated ACR’s Avoided Conversion of Grasslands carbon accounting protocol and has worked on the development of several wetland restoration protocols. While at ACR, Margaret has also supported several USDA Conservation Innovation Grants, awarded to ACR, in the areas of agricultural carbon offsets and sustainability certifications, including development of the U.S. version of the Sustainable Rice Platform
