Major Hollis has worked for Southern Company for the past 13 years serving in various roles within the Technical & Project Solutions organization. Most of Major’s time has been spent in the field, planning and executing CapEx projects ranging from fossil fuels generation, environmental compliance, demolition, and renewable generation.

Prior to joining Southern Company, Major spent time in retail banking. Major earned his BA in Political Science from Millsaps College and master’s degree in Engineering and Construction Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He currently resides in Homewood, AL with his wife, Katie, and their three children- Max, Evelyn, and Hank.
