Ms. Santamaria is passionate about building teams that do great things. She has experience in bringing multiple life-saving products to market, from concept through commercialization. She began her career at Cordis Neurovascular, part of Johnson and Johnson. During her tenure there she held positions in research and development, manufacturing, and marketing. She led the development and global launch of microcatheters used to treat ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. As Director of Product Development for OrbusNeich Medical, Inc., she led the cardiovascular drug-eluting stent program including preparations for clinical trials and manufacturing scale-up in Asia and Europe. As Senior Vice-President of Operations at Surefire Medical (now TriSalus), she was responsible for the commercialization of an innovative device to treat liver cancer. She is excited to join the fight against climate change and to utilize her skills to bring clean energy solutions to the market.

She recently became a trained leader with the Climate Reality Project and is pursuing a certificate in Finance and Deploying Clean Energy from Yale. Ms. Santamaria received her undergraduate degree in Engineering Science and Biomechanics from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Miami. She currently resides in Saint Johns, Florida with her husband and three kids.
