Lily Colburn

Lily Colburn graduated with a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment specializing in natural climate solutions, food systems, and conservation. She is now a doctoral student at Stanford University.

At CBEY, Lily was a Regenerative Agriculture Initiative research associate studying the potential of integrating agroforestry systems and large-scale tree planting initiatives. Prior to Yale, Lily worked at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) in Panama, studying the effects of reduced rainfall on root morphology and nutrient cycling. Lily graduated cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she received a B.A. in English literature and a B.A. in geography.
