Lillian Childress

Lillian is currently pursuing her Master in Environmental Management (MEM) at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, focusing on industrial ecology and green chemistry. She is the speaker series and workshop coordinator for CBEY's entrepreneurship and innovation program. In addition, she is an innovation fellow for Women Entrepreneurs and Innovators at Yale, an initiative at the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking. She is also a research assistant to Dr. Marian Chertow at the Yale Center for Industrial Ecology.

Before coming to Yale, Lillian worked for two years in R&D and business development at HomeBiogas, an Israeli renewable energy startup. At the startup, she designed and brought to market a toilet that converts human waste into biogas.

Lillian graduated from Yale College in 2017 with a degree in environmental engineering.
