Liang (Anthony) Qiao

Anthony is a joint Master of Business Administration and Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of Management and Yale School of the Environment. He is interested in the intersection of business and sustainability, particularly in how organizations can embed sustainability into strategy, governance, and decision-making to create lasting impact.

Prior to Yale, Anthony worked as an ESG and Sustainability consultant at PwC. His work focused on sustainability reporting, ESG ratings performance, and sustainability assurance, as well as helping clients develop and strengthen their sustainability governance structures. Through this work, he supported organizations in responding to growing expectations for stronger sustainability performance, greater transparency, and accountability.

Originally from Nanjing, China, Anthony graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Outside of work and school, he enjoys traveling, visiting museums and art exhibitions, exploring new restaurants, and keeping up with business news.
