Leo Levitt
Leo is a rising Junior at Yale University in Pauli Murray College, studying Economics with a certificate in Climate Science and Solutions.
Originally from San Mateo, California, Leo is interested in renewable energy project finance, demand management, and other AI-power grid optimization and internal operations. As a 2026 intern focusing on AI for Clean Energy, Leo collaborates with CESA’s partners to determine effective integrations of various AI technologies into grid operations, forecasting, and internal operations. Leo also assists CESA in managing its own internal use of AI.
At Yale, Leo works as a Research Assistant at the Tobin Center for Economics, currently working under Professor Cameron LaPoint at the School of Management for a study titled Environmental Cleanup Incentives as Place-Based Redistribution: Evidence from the EPA’s Brownfields Program.
Additionally, Leo is a member of Just Add Water, Yale's musical improv group. He also enjoys working as a First-year Outdoor Orientation Trip (FOOT) leader.
