Julia Lorencon
Julia Lourencon is a seasoned energy professional with extensive expertise in underwriting, portfolio management, and asset disposition of power generation projects across the United States and Latin America. As Assistant Vice President at GE Vernova Financial Services (formerly General Electric), where she has served for nearly nine years, Julia has played a pivotal role in key initiatives aimed at delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions. Prior to her tenure at GE Vernova, Julia completed the Financial Management Program at General Electric and gained valuable experience in mergers and acquisitions at Barclays Investment Bank. Originally from Brazil and having lived in several countries, Julia brings a global perspective to her work, driven by a commitment to fostering sustainability, innovation, and energy access. In addition to her professional achievements, Julia is a dedicated mentor through her alma mater, Insper, where she actively supports and empowers young professionals in their career development.
Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Insper and has recently completed the Financing and Deploying Clean Energy (FDCE) and Clean and Equitable Energy Development (CEED) programs at Yale University.
