John van der Stricht

John is currently Vice President at the Rohatyn Group. He graduated from the joint MBA/MF program at Yale School of Management and School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. At Yale, John focused on the role of market incentives in land conservation, as well as innovation, social learning and experimental economics. During the summer of 2015, John worked with GMO Renewable Resources as an investment analyst looking at timber and agriculture investments in North and South America. In 2014, he worked with America's Test Kitchen creating business partnerships. Prior to Yale, John worked for AGC Partners, a boutique investment bank, focusing on sell-side M&A transactions in the technology sector. He began his career with GE Capital and has consulted for The Nature Conservancy and The Conservation Fund. John graduated with honors from Trinity College, majoring in Economics and History. At Trinity, he researched economic development in Latin America and open economy macroeconomics. He sits on the Advisory Council of Conservacion Patagonica.
