Jiani graduated from the Master of Environmental Management (MEM) at Yale University and is passionate about business and entrepreneurship. She is interested in how business function affects environment and society. She is currently a Research Assistant at Caltech. 

She possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and co-founded Nuoton, which is a consumer based air pollution venture with a group of senior professionals from Google, IBM, Yale School of Management, Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies & Harvard Business School. The venture is targeting on the emerging markets in China, India and the U.S.

She enjoys modern dance, painting, cooking, jogging, swimming, hiking and photograph.
