Jason Rittenberg is the Director of Research and Advisory Services for the Council of Development Finance Agencies (CDFA). He oversees the Council’s research activities, which include the annual Volume Cap Report and publications on an array of economic development finance tools. Jason manages CDFA's Research & Advisory Services, which provides planning, analysis and research services to development finance organizations. Past projects have included a lending program analysis for Business Oregon, a strategic plan for the Development Finance Authority of Summit County, and the EPA-funded CDFA Brownfields Technical Assistance Program. Additionally, Jason serves as CDFA’s Revolving Loan Fund Course Advisor.

Jason previously worked for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services as a Social Sciences Research Specialist, where his focus was reporting and analysis for the state’s workforce programs. Jason received a Master’s Degree in Communication from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Ohio University. He is the coauthor of News on the Internet: Information and Citizenship in the 21st Century. In his local community, Jason is a member of the Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council.
