Jane (Culkin) Israel is a graduate of the Master of Environmental Management (MEM) program at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. She now works at Highland Electric Fleets. Prior to pursuing her Master’s at FES, Jane worked at Colorado State University as a Research Associate for the Center for the New Energy Economy (CNEE). In that role, Jane researched state and federal clean energy policies primarily focusing on clean energy issues in the western United States. Jane’s recent research has centered around how to effectively implement local and state level clean energy and sustainability initiatives. Her interest in clean energy and sustainable policy development stem from her love of the outdoors. A Colorado native, she is an avid hiker, skier, and general wilderness explorer.
