Jack Wang
Jack Wang is pursuing graduate studies at Yale in Chemical & Environmental Engineering. His interests sit at the intersection of clean energy, industrial decarbonization, data-driven modeling, and sustainable development.
Before Yale, Jack studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester, where he developed a strong foundation in process engineering, modeling, reactor systems, and sustainable production. At Yale, he has continued to build on this background through scientific machine learning, data-driven analysis, and applied modeling, with a growing interest in how quantitative tools can support better decisions in clean energy and industrial transformation.
Through CBEY’s PSiCE fellowship, Jack is engaging with applied clean-energy and development work in East Africa. He is currently supporting analysis on how countries can move toward higher long-term energy use and income levels through realistic growth pathways and energy-investment scenarios. Jack also serves as a Graduate Student Assembly representative for the Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering. Outside of academics, he enjoys bouldering, photography, and traveling.
