Isabella Arteaga

Isa is a Master of Environmental Management candidate focused on mobilizing private capital for nature conservation and regeneration, particularly in the Global South — which led her to co-found the Conservation Finance Student Interest Group at YSE.

Prior to Yale, she spent nearly four years at McKinsey & Company, where she worked across the firm's sustainability and private equity practices. She then spent several months living in the Ecuadorian Amazon and Indonesia.

Between her first and second years at Yale, Isa worked as an Associate at Riverstone Earth, an investment firm focused on natural capital and regenerative agriculture, where she supported investment strategy and due diligence.

Isa grew up in the Andean region of Ecuador. She flies small planes, takes film photos, and reads existentialist fiction. She enjoys slow and intentional travel and is drawn to cultures and ways of life that make her reconsider her own.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Relations from Boston University.
