Grady O'Shaughnessy
Grady O'Shaughnessy leads the financing and sale of utility-scale wind and solar facilities for Apex Clean Energy, a renewable energy project development, construction and operations business with one of the largest portfolios in the country. He is very proud to be a part of a team that, over the last decade, has commercialized six gigawatts of clean energy, enough to power two million homes in the US.
In graduate school, he worked with the Bonneville Power Administration's Wind Integration Team analyzing market practices for the incorporation of wind power into the electrical grid in markets around the US. Prior to moving into renewables, he led sustainability marketing efforts for Clif Bar and 1% for the Planet and consulted on federal climate change advocacy initiatives.
He received an MEM from the Yale School of the Environment and a B.S. in Biology from Lehigh University. He lives in the Green Mountains of Vermont with his wife (a fellow YSE’r), two-year-old son and an energetic English Shepherd. He's a recovering runner making a new go of it as a cyclist and looks forward to traveling again on the other side of the pandemic.
