Forest Abbott-Lum

Forest Abbott-Lum is the Grants and Prizes Coordinator at CBEY, and a Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Prior to Yale, Forest was a Princeton in Asia Fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council (Beijing office), the E-Commerce Sales and Marketing Manager at Shangrila Farms (a Beijing-based sustainable honey social enterprise), and most recently, the Organics Recovery Coordinator at the NYC Compost Project.

Forest is professionally fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and also happens to be an OSHA-certified skid steer loader operator. She holds a bachelor's degree from Bennington College in Environmental Studies and Chinese.
