Erik Schiemman

Mr. Schiemman is currently the CEO and Founder of GE Solar, a G.E division that delivers sustainable economic energy solutions for businesses and communities throughout North America, through PV energy and energy storage solutions. He specializes in Solar Energy Economics, Strategic, Analytics, Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Project Finance, and Commercial Transactions.

Before joining General Electrics in 2018, Mr. Schiemman worked in Barclays Capital where he was responsible for financial analysis and client presentations for M&A transactions as well as the valuation of companies across industries. He also worked in Lehman Brothers as a summer Associate helping the Company in projects related to debt financings, leveraged buyout analysis M&A, and equity offerings. Before that, he was part of the United States Army for 7 years where he Led forces in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mr. Schiemman has an MBA from the University of North Carolina, and a B.A from Michigan State University.
