Erik Anderson

Erik is a Master of Environmental Management candidate at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, where he focuses on clean energy project origination and development. At Yale, he is co-president of the Western Resources Student Interest Group and Captain of the Yale Graduate Crew.

During the summer of 2019, Erik worked at New Haven Community Solar as Project Manager, where he spearheaded an effort to crowd-invest and install an 11.2 kW solar array for a local nonprofit that struggled to receive conventional financing. His goal is to demonstrate the viability of small-scale tax equity deals and democratized project ownership as key parts of a just energy transition.

He’s originally from western Washington state and attended Whitman College. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, rowing, and calligraphy.
