Emma Thornton
Emma is a joint MBA/MEM candidate passionate about integrating environmentally and socially responsible practices into supply chain and procurement processes. She brings a wealth of experience from internships at Oxfam, MIT J-PAL, and Ceres, as well as various roles at Energy Solutions, where she ultimately ideated, launched, and managed the Research & Analysis Team.
As a founding member of Youth4Nature, Emma mobilized young adults to influence key nature-climate decisions at global UN and IUCN conferences. She is also committed to community-based environmental advocacy and served as a City of Orlando Clean Energy & Green Buildings Subcommittee Representative and a Sustainable Farmer with IDEAS for Us.
Emma graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a minor in Law and Policy. In her free time, she enjoys exploring East Rock Park, practicing weight lifting and yoga, and diving into the latest pop psychology and science books.
