Master of Environmental Management 2026
Emily K

Emily Kaufman is a researcher, organizer, and writer focused on the intersections of environmental justice, decolonial thought, and systems change.  She is currently pursuing a Master of Environmental Management at the Yale School of the Environment, where her work centers on transformative organizational practices, Indigenous stewardship, and climate justice.

Emily has worked with grassroots advocacy groups, international NGOs, and academic projects, with a commitment to bridging the gap between stated values and lived practices in environmental movements.  Drawing on both scholarly and lived experience, Emily explores how communities and organizations can resist extractive systems while building reparative, equitable futures.
