Emily Auerbach is formerly an Associate Brand Manager at General Mills. A lifelong environmentalist and passionate foodie, Emily has worked to build sustainable food systems at the local, community, and global scales. As an advocate for working and edible landscapes at UNC-Chapel Hill and a researcher for a global organization of chocolate and cocoa companies, Emily was fascinated by the intersection of design and agriculture. As a joint degree candidate at Yale University, Emily learned how to build purpose-driven brands by studying data analytics and consumer insights. Brand management is the perfect blend of creativity and analytics, and she is so happy to be working as an ABM at a purpose-led food company.

Prior to Yale, Emily worked with over 100 chocolate and cocoa companies at the World Cocoa Foundation to identify opportunities for collaboration on sustainability initiatives. She also worked with UNC-Chapel Hill as an edible and working landscapes strategist and advocate. Emily spent her first summer as an MBA Marketing Intern at Pepperidge Farm, where she developed a growth strategy for two brands representing $35MM in annual revenue. She will spend her second summer internship working in brand management at Danone North America, the world's largest B corp.
