Elaff Abdallah

Elaff is a Solar Energy Engineer with over eight years of experience in the renewable energy sector. She has led projects ranging from small residential solar installations to large-scale decentralized systems. Throughout her career, she has worked with stakeholders from the public and private sectors, as well as intergovernmental organizations to drive sustainable energy solutions. Currently, she is a Hybrid Design Engineer at Siraj Power in the UAE.
Elaff is an alumnus of Yale University’s Financing and Deploying Clean Energy program and the Arab Program for Sustainable Energy Youth™ (APSEY). She is also a fellow of the Open Africa Power program by the Enel Foundation.
Elaff holds a master’s degree in Renewable Energy and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. She is also a certified energy management professional.
She combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and financing mechanisms. Passionate and committed to expanding solar energy adoption in developing countries, enhancing energy access, and supporting the global transition to a low-carbon future.
