Ekaterina Plotnitskaya is a MMS GBS candidate at Yale School of Management, part of the M2M HEC-Yale SOM program. As a student employee at the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, Ekaterina coordinates environmental startup funding. Prior to attending Yale, Ekaterina worked for the corporate venture capital arm of TotalEnergies Ventures as a VC Analyst. Within this role, she focused on finding, funding and supporting high-potential startups contributing to the creation of a low carbon future. Her main areas of focus included voluntary carbon markets, plastic recycling, and alternative leather materials. Ekaterina also has experience as a Credit Risk Analyst at Goldman Sachs and an Investment Banking Intern at Greenhill & Co. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Commerce and Minor in Dance. In her free time, Ekaterina enjoys playing polo, kitesurfing, skiing, and practicing yoga.
