Dylan Walsh is a freelance writer based in Chicago. He contributed regularly to The New York Times Green blog until it closed in March, 2013. He now contributes to Elements at The New Yorker as well as The Guardian environment blog. He has also written for Orion,Yale Environment 360 and The Huffington Post, among other publications.
As a 2011 graduate of the School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, Dylan has covered a range of science and environmental topics over the last three years. He is increasingly interested in U.S. criminal justice, with a particular focus on the juvenile justice system.
