Dr. Sebastian Groh

Dr. Sebastian Groh is the CEO and Co-founder of SOLshare and a Professor at BRAC Business School. A Stanford Ignite Fellow and Ph.D. graduate from Aalborg University and TU Berlin, his research focused on energy, development, and innovation in Bangladesh. Formerly with MicroEnergy International, he founded SOLshare in 2014 to pioneer peer-to-peer solar networks. His leadership has earned global recognition, including the Earthshot Prize Finalist (2021) and Zayed Sustainability Award (2022). He is also Vice President of the Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
