Diane Strauss

Diane Strauss is Research Director at the Yale Initiative on Sustainable Finance, where she designs and conducts academic research on the integration of sustainability criteria in investment decisions. Previously, she worked at 2degrees Investing Initiative and the European Office of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) where she explored methodologies to align investment strategies with climate objectives and performed advocacy work on the development of socially responsible investment markets. Diane started her career at the investment bank Natixis, originating small renewable energy projects for the European carbon market.

She is the author of several research papers published with Columbia University/Palgrave Macmillan editions, the UNEP-Inquiry and France Strategy, looking into the impact of public policies and financial schemes on the allocation of capital for sustainable investments.
