Datis Doustali is a Yale undergraduate in the Class of 2027 studying Global Affairs and pursuing a certificate in Energy Studies. He is interested in the intersection of energy, sanctions, and international security, with a particular focus on the Middle East. As a 2026 PSiCE Summer Fellow, he will intern with the Honnold Foundation, where he will support partner case studies and impact evaluation work primarily in South America. 
 

Before joining the Honnold Foundation, his academic and professional work took him across four continents, where he led quantitative analysis on sanctions and economic development about Iran and contributed to energy and infrastructure research, including district cooling in Dubai.


Outside of academics, he enjoys carpentry, hiking, and photography.
