Claire Goydan is a Master of Environmental Management graduate from the Yale School of the Environment, having specialized in business and the environment. Claire is passionate about driving innovation and strategic thinking in the private sector to advance corporate responsibility, supply chain decarbonization and clean energy investments, and the transition to a circular economy.

At the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, Claire serves as a producer at Beyond the Buzzwords in partnership with the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking. Beyond the Buzzwords is a multimedia project in which Yale experts break down the buzzwords often used in sustainable innovation. She also serves as the survey lead and report author for the Renewable Thermal Alliance to better understand corporate attitudes and market opportunities for renewable thermal technologies.

Prior to attending YSE, Claire worked as an environmental consultant for federal agencies and foundations in D.C. She holds a B.S. in geology and environmental science & policy from the College of William & Mary.
