CiCi Wang

Cici is a first-year joint-degree candidate at the Yale School of Management and the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies, where she focuses on energy, sustainability, and urban development. She is passionate about utilizing the nexus between technology and policy to create widescale systematic change for issues of climate change and environmental justice.

Before coming to Yale, she spent 3 years at Energy Solutions, a clean energy consulting firm focused on creating large-scale environmental impacts by providing cost-effective carbon, energy, and water management solutions. As a Project Manager, she oversaw energy efficiency programs in CT, MA, NH, and RI. She also assisted with drafting the next 3-year cycle for California’s Title 24 building codes and development of emerging technology projects with industrial cannabis cultivation. Under her leadership, the Boston office grew from a team of two to 15 members. She loves working in a high-paced start up environment and hopes to start her own company in the future.

Prior to Energy Solutions, Cici worked on water quality management at Corona Environmental Consulting and was a policy fellow at the Harvard Law School Emmett Environmental Law & Policy Clinic drafting recommendations for Boston's 2020 Climate Action Plan.

Cici graduated cum laude from Yale College with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering. Originally from Upstate NY, she mostly recently lived in Boston and enjoys ultimate frisbee, podcasts, and all things related to food and travel.
