Christy Dey

Christy is a joint MBA/MEM student. Prior to Yale, she worked in the commodities industry, with experience spanning energy, agriculture, and maritime markets. Her work focused on energy transition research, client strategy, and financial analysis.

This summer, she is an Impact Investing Intern at Fibers Fund, where she supports due diligence, underwriting, and portfolio development for businesses advancing sustainable agriculture and regenerative textile supply chains. At Yale, she is involved with CBEY’s Moving the Needle Sustainable Fashion Initiative, Tsai CITY, and the Center for Green Chemistry and Green Engineering at Yale.

Christy holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and Economics from Columbia University and is passionate about circular economy solutions, sustainable materials, and using capital to build more resilient agricultural systems.

Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Christy enjoys running and cat-sitting.
