Master of Environmental Management 2027
Christy Dey

Christy Dey is coming from the commodities industry  with deep experience in energy, agriculture, and maritime trade flows, working at the intersection of global markets and sustainable transitions. Her career spans advising hedge funds, oil and gas firms, and Silicon Valley innovators on commodity and emissions intelligence, with a focus on understanding inefficiencies that shape both risk and opportunity in supply chains.

Grounded in her academic background in Environmental Science and Economics, Christy has researched the impacts of oil production in Guyana through a natural capital lens, weighing the environmental costs of extraction against development gains. This work inspired her current mission: applying circularity principles and green chemistry solutions to transform supply chains into cleaner, more resilient systems. She is particularly passionate about building regenerative models for agriculture and energy that reduce waste, capture value from byproducts, and align with community-based development.
