Chris is a Project Development Analyst at SunPower. He seeks to help grow the clean energy economy through innovative technologies and business models, especially those that align the incentives of regulators and utilities and lead to a more modernized, flexible, and resilient grid. He graduated with a Masters in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, where he focused on energy finance. He has previous experience working on solar policy for the state of New York, and before that doing conservation biology in Namibia. He is interested in the use of educational materials being put into action when it comes to the deployment of renewable energy projects; his work at CBEY reflects that need in developing course material on clean energy finance for working professionals in the field.
