Chris Magalhaes

Chris is a Yale alum and he pursued his passion for finance and energy at CBEY. As Chief Investment Officer at Inclusive Prosperity Capital, Chris oversees all activities related to capital deployment, including investment structuring and risk analysis.

He spent several years on the finance team of the CT Green Bank, the first green investment bank in the nation after a stint as the head of financial modeling for RLR Consultants, LLC, a boutique Tax Equity advisory firm.

As a 2013 Investment Banking Summer Associate in the Energy Coverage Group at J.P. Morgan, Chris worked on live M&A and debt/equity offerings across energy spectrum, and as a 2012 Summer Consultant with Hadapt, Inc., he developed innovative Go-To-Market strategies for a Big Data analytics start-up.

Prior to Yale, Chris spent 5 years with S&P Capital IQ, a finance data & analytics software platform servicing financial institutions, investors, and advisors.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a bachelor’s degree in History from New York University.

Chris lives in Brooklyn, where he is forever in search of the perfect cup of coffee.
