Chase Howell

Chase is a joint degree student at the Yale School of the Environment and Yale School of Management, focusing on renewable energy and the built environment. At CBEY, Chase is working with the team as a Clean Energy Summer Fellow, supporting online programs such as the Yale Financing and Deploying Clean Energy certificate program and the Clean and Equitable Energy Development certificate program.

Prior to Yale, Chase launched and directed a public charity called Cambium Initiative to develop sustainable energy solutions and microgrids for remote communities in the Nepali Himalayas. His present experience includes private sector renewables development, corporate sustainability, and public policy work.

Chase graduated from Colorado College with a B.A. in Political Science, and can often be found exploring the various parks and state forests in New Haven and Connecticut.
