Charlotte graduated a joint MBA and Master of Environmental Management program with a focus on rural economic development and corporate sustainability in the food and agriculture sector.

Raised in Wisconsin, she is interested in how agricultural sustainability can be used as a tool for rural economic development and strategies for engaging conventional agriculture in responding to climate change.

Prior to attending Yale, Charlotte worked as a legislative aide for Senator Tammy Baldwin, where she advised the senator on agriculture and environmental policy and worked on the Senate Democrats' Special Committee on the Climate Crisis. While working in the Senate, she authored legislation to promote integrity in the organic supply chain that was included in the 2018 Farm Bill.

Charlotte graduated magna cum laude from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Environmental Studies. In her free time, she enjoys rock climbing, making fermented foods and long walks with her dog.
