Chadwick Pingel
Chadwick is a joint Master of Environmental Management and Master of Business Administration candidate at the Yale School of the Environment and Yale School of Management. He cares about delivering climate and energy impact by leveraging his background in project management, data and analytics, and sustainability strategy. Chadwick focuses on energy, business, and equity topics related to the ongoing green transformation of the global energy industry.
Prior to Yale, Chadwick worked at Google for 8 years in multiple offices, including the Bay Area, on international assignment in Dublin IE, and recently, Chicago. His work at Google included automating manual finance processes, building data infrastructure and reporting for procurement functions, and measuring greenhouse gas emissions. Chadwick's work was instrumental in Google expanding its carbon abatement strategy into Scope 3 supplier partnerships and expanded disclosures.
Chadwick comes to Yale from Des Moines, Iowa, where his family still raises corn and soybeans in a multi-generational farming operation. He enjoys hiking, running, surfing, playing piano, singing, attending live concerts, and building D&D games for his friends.
Chadwick holds a bachelor's degree in Finance and Marketing from they Lacy School of Business at Butler University. Go Dawgs!
