Cassandra John
Cassandra has spent the past 17 years working across investment banking and asset management, with the last 6 years focused on climate and clean energy. Her expertise is in developing innovative capital and insurance solutions that accelerate investment into climate-tech and the energy transition.
At present, Cassandra is the Chief Financial Officer for Allumia, an energy efficiency-as-a-service provider and IoT platform that delivers decarbonization solutions for C&I customers. Prior to Allumia, she was an Innovation Advisor to the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA); she co-founded Spring Free EV, a mobility fintech; and she founded Sif Capital Advisors, a strategy and capital markets consultancy for early-stage climate companies. Previously, she was Senior Director of Finance & Strategy at Sparkfund, and held various roles at JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, and Moody’s.
Cassandra is a Board Director for HELIXintel, a equipment maintenance and facilities platform. She is also an advisor for Energetic Insurance, SolaBlock, ATMOS Finance, and Acre Homes.
Cassandra has a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management from the City University of New York – Baruch and an Advanced Diploma in Energy Finance from New York University.
