Carolina is a joint Master of Business Administration and Master of Environmental Management candidate. She is interested in impact investing and scaling natural climate and circular economy solutions. This summer, she worked at CapShift, an impact investing platform and advisor in the Greater Boston Area, conducting sourcing and due diligence for investment opportunities across various asset classes and impact areas. Before coming to Yale, Carolina worked as an Environmental Specialist at Hatfield Consultants, an environmental consulting firm in Vancouver, Canada. In this role, she monitored and assessed the aquatic environmental impacts of different industrial and municipal projects. Prior to this position, she worked on programs addressing single-use plastic pollution in Canada, mangrove conservation in Costa Rica, and peatland restoration in Germany.
 

Carolina was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Ecology from The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She loves traveling, hiking, and working on artistic projects.
