Carlos Ibarra
Carlos is the Capital Allocation Advisor, CO2 Lead at CEMEX. Carlos holds a Master in Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment. At YSE, Carlos focused his work in energy finance topics, particularly in the area of incentives to deploy sustainable investment projects such as renewable energy in the private sector of developing countries. Prior to YSE, Carlos worked as a financial advisor for a global building materials company, CEMEX, where he created financial models, including project finance, for different energy projects in Europe, US and Latin America.At FES, Carlos is a Fulbright Scholar, a Student Affairs Committee representative, and a leader in the Latin America student group. He holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a minor in wind energy and is currently a Fulbright Scholar.Carlos is a first year Master in Environmental Management Candidate at the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
