Brendan Edgerton is Director of Sustainable Product & Portfolio at 3M. Part of the global sustainability team, his team is responsible for the sustainability performance of the current and future 3M product portfolio. Supporting the company with LCA, EPDs, carbon footprints and managing the company's Sustainable Value Commitment, his team ensures all marketing claims are grounded in data.

Prior to 3M, he was the Director of Circular Economy at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, where he co-developed Factor10, authored or contributed to over 15 publications, managed the creation of the Circular Electronics Partnership, contributed to the establishment of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste and oversaw the delivery of the Circular Transition Indicators. His work experience also includes serving as the Head of Sustainability at Designit, implementing LCA projects with Walt Disney Imagineering, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects with Office Depot and LEED/green building consulting with Green Dinosaur, Inc.

Brendan has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and a B.A. in Ecological Design from the University of California Santa Cruz.
