Brendan Edgerton

Brendan currently works as Director for the Circular Economy group of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development in Geneva, Switzerland. His work focuses on mainstreaming life cycle assessment in the built environment, implementing the circular economy, and life cycle thinking.
Brendan Edgerton completed the Yale FES/SOM joint degree program in 2015, receiving an MBA and Master of Environmental Management. His studies focused on the opportunities that industrial ecology presents within corporate environmental strategy. In 2013, Brendan worked as an EDF Climate Corps Fellow at Office Depot where he identified savings opportunities in greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency and generation projects across headquarters, stores, and supply chain. His 2014 summer internship was with Walt Disney Imagineering in their R&D group, conducting life cycle assessment and sustainable engineering projects.
Prior to Yale, Brendan was a project manager for Green Dinosaur, Inc. in Venice, California, where he worked as a green building consultant on over 20 LEED projects. Brendan maintains his LEED Accredited Professional accreditation for both new construction (LEED-BD+C) and existing buildings (LEED-O+M). A native of Los Angeles, California, Brendan graduated with honors from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2006 with a BA in Ecological Design.
