Benjamin Lowry

Benjamin is a producer at Beyond the Buzzwords. He studied geology at Carleton College where he developed a love for thinking about the Earth as a system. For his thesis, he studied science education, attempting to make the joys and rigor of place-based education transferable. As a former teacher and summer camp director, he is passionate about education and science communication, particularly the question of how to make difficult material accessible while preserving the complexity and beauty of its original form.

Currently he is a student at Yale Divinity School in the MDiv Program, studying community and secular forms of chaplaincy work.
