Andy is the Director of Procurement for Hu Kitchen, an organic and Fairtrade chocolate company, where he oversees the sourcing of the company’s full portfolio of ingredients and packaging. In this role, Andy led Hu’s conversion to a 100% organic supply chain and launched the company’s “All that Can Be” Fairtrade certification, including dedicated cooperatives for vanilla, coconut sugar, and cashews.
Currently Andy is focused on building traceability in Hu’s cocoa trail and on sustainable packaging materials. Andy is passionate about working landscapes, agroforestry, and international development. At Yale he completed a BA in Political Science (2009), and an MBA / Masters in Forestry (2018). Prior to Hu, Andy worked at Blue Apron, in management consulting and with smallholder farmers in India.
