Allyson graduated the Master of Environmental Management program at YSE.  Her focus is on climate adaptation and resilience in domestic and global post-disaster spaces.

Originally from Northern California, Allyson’s keen awareness of climate change motivated her years of work in the environmental field. Her professional experience includes the Energy and Geoeconomics program at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York and the Water Foundation in California. Additionally, her Fulbright research in South India focused on grassroots urban resilience to climate change and weather-related disasters.

Before attending the Yale School of the Environment, Allyson worked as the Communications Manager for WaterSHED in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. There she supported the organization's mission to identify strategic opportunities and gaps in the wider system while strengthening the capacity of key actors to create a more dynamic and resilient market for water, sanitation, and hygiene products and services in Cambodia.

Allyson graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in Resource & Conservation Studies, and a B.A. in Political Science. She enjoys backpacking and open water swimming around the world.
