Alberto Andrade

Alberto is a second-year MBA/MEM candidate. He is interested in sustainable economic development, climate resilience, renewable energy, and the political economy of climate change.

Before graduate school, Alberto worked at the American Flood Coalition (AFC), a nonpartisan NGO advocating for national solutions to flooding and sea level rise. While working there, he researched and developed climate resilience policies and helped launch a partnership focusing on state-level action to mitigate the impacts of flooding and sea level rise. Prior to working at AFC, he worked at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant focusing on public sector, infrastructure, and banking projects across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Most recently, Alberto interned as a Product Manager at Amazon over the summer of 2022, working on optimizing package size for products shipped through third-party sellers.

Alberto graduated from the University of Oxford with a BA in Economics and Management.
